Dwayne has been a personal trainer at Fitness Collective since August 2009, specializing in strength, core and power training. He has studied Martial Arts, specifically Vee Jitsu ‘75 for the past 16 years. Dwayne is currently preparing for the 2011 Cross Fit Games. Helping people effectively achieve their fitness goals is Dwayne’s true passion in life. My philosophy of fitness is; “the true fountain of youth comes from proper fitness and nutrition.
HEAD TRAINER
Nick is a former United States Marine who knows the meaning of hard work. Specializing in dynamic strength conditioning, he believes the human body is a unique machine designed for movement. He has traveled the globe learning and teaching many techniques in pursuit of physical fitness and wellness. In addition to his experience as an athlete and trainer, Nick is an Exercise Science major at Brooklyn College.
Pete's passion is to help people achieve their goals. A fan of the basic tools to reach fitness success, Pete specializes is weight-loss, plyometrics and making new people to exercise feel welcome! Nationally certified in many areas of fitness, Pete recognize's the need to feel healthy and strong. A session with him involves core strength moves, plyometric based movements and aerobic conditioning work. A strenuous but safe work-out is the reason why so many clients feel at home when Pete is training them.
Training professionally since 2001, Tennille has
trained at NY Health and Racquet Club, Crunch, Bally’s Total Fitness and Dodge,
YMCA. At Crunch, she taught new
techniques in fitness to instructors, and at Bally’s Total Fitness, while being
an instructor, acted as Head Trainer/Asst. Fitness Director. At the YMCA, Miss
Ray planned and implemented a Healthy & Fit Kids class and Cardio Circuit
training class for adults.
Tennille taught Rumble Tumble for children 1 ½ -3 years, Kinder Sports
for children 3-5 years, and Fit Kids for pre-teens and teens.
Tennille now holds titles - Ms. Universe Figure, Ms.
Fit Body and Figure Pro Overall.
Krista is an actress and former professional dancer. She received her
BFA in Dance Performance from Butler University. While dancing
professionally she studied under Lynn Simonson at Dance Space to become
certified as a Simonson Technique Instructor. She is a graduate of the
Kane School for her Pilates Mat training as well as continuing her
Pilates Education at Dance New Amsterdam under Teri Steele.
Krista is available for private Pilates and for Classes.
